Account and Data Deletion

Local data

Maya Libri works locally. If Maya Cloud is not used, your data remains on your device. Uninstalling the app removes the local data stored in its private app space.

Delete a Maya Cloud account

In Settings → Cloud account, select “Delete my account and data”. A double confirmation is required before the irreversible action.

What is deleted

The `delete-account` server function removes personal photos stored in Maya Cloud and then the authentication account. The associated backup is automatically deleted by the database cascade rule.

What remains on the device

Deleting the Maya Cloud account does not delete your local books. Your local library remains on your phone.

Signing out

Signing out only closes the session; it does not delete the account or cloud data.

The Infomaniak newsletter is independent from Maya Cloud. Deleting the cloud account does not automatically unsubscribe you from the newsletter.
